What we publish

DesiPin publishes photo collections.

We don't copy photos from social media accounts.

People in our photos

The people in our photos are often members of the public, so we treat their privacy with care. We don't name people in photos, and we don't link photos to anyone's social media or personal details.

We don't publish photos of children unless a parent or guardian has agreed. We don't publish photos taken in private places, or of people in medical, religious or other sensitive situations, without their consent.

Only authentic photos

We never publish AI-generated images, face swaps or edited images of real people, and we don't present altered images as genuine. Editors check this before an album is published.

What we don’t publish

  • Sexualised, voyeuristic or suggestive content
  • Photos copied from people's social media, or leaked, stolen or private photos
  • Photos of children without a parent's or guardian's agreement
  • Names, contact details or other personal information about people in photos

Asking for a photo to be removed

Anyone who appears in a photo can ask us to remove it, for any reason, and so can their parent, guardian or representative. Every photo has a Request removal link in its details panel, or you can use the form directly.

We review every request within 48–72 hours. If you are in a photo and ask for it to be removed, we remove it. We reply by email with what we decided.

Sri Lankan law

We aim to follow Sri Lankan law, including the Online Safety Act No. 9 of 2024 and the Personal Data Protection Act No. 9 of 2022. We keep the information you send in a removal request only to handle that request.
